The Scale Education & Research Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2008. The foundation was established for the purpose of supporting our nation’s current reform efforts to improve the quality of public and private education by providing alternative learning options for students with unique learning styles and needs.
To develop learning models, programs, and learning institutions to address the needs of families, children, and learners of all ages who seek alternative learning options
To engage in continuous research, both qualitative and quantitative, to learn more about the impacts of alternative programs on student learning
To make alternative programs accessible in the U.S. and abroad
To provide administrative support and training for alternative programs that are aligned with research-based practices
SCALE Education provides K-12 students with a strong emphasis on core academic standards, technology based learning, and alternative learning outcomes. SCALE Education provides options for families in the U.S. and abroad. Our online education resources are rigorous, flexible, customizable, and effective – blending online and hands-on learning in a way that meets the needs of 21st-century learners.
The SCALE Education learning options are available in two ways: tuition free public charter schools in select states and tuition based private preparatory academies available to K-12 students worldwide.
At SCALE education, we believe children deserve a high quality, personalized learning experience. We have integrated the best practices and customizable curricula for each subject area into our online program, and all K-12 curricula meet state and common core standards. Moreover, we work with families to customize learning in cases where families are choosing online education as a homeschool option.
There are numerous benefits to students choosing the SCALE Education learning model. The benefits include K-12 courses that blend online and hands-on learning, a rigorous college prep curriculum that offers CP, Honors, AP, and credit recovery courses, various options for at-risk students and students that are behind grade level, plus flexible, varied-pace options for full-time students, as well as à la carte courses, and licensed & qualified, licensed teachers with low student-to-teacher ratios.
